Renown SPORTSGROUP

Pathways for UK footballers to Australia's National Premier Leagues.

About

Renown was created to help UK players take the jump and land at the right club in Australia.

The goal is a contract. My job is getting you in front of the right club, one that's actually looking for what you do, and making sure the move around it doesn't fall apart. I made this move myself and I'm still playing here, so what I offer is what I know first-hand: the clubs, the league, and everything that comes with living and working on the other side of the world.

Every player is assessed honestly before anyone's name goes in front of a club, and the ones who go get a person for the whole of the move, not just the introduction. As the network grows, so will the services. What won't change is that nobody gets oversold.

Services

  1. 01

    Player assessment

An honest read on your level and where you'd realistically fit in Australia, either NPL or State League.

  2. 02

    Club introductions

Your footage and my recommendation in front of the clubs that are recruiting your position, pay imports, and help with work and a place to stay.

  3. 03

    Preparation

What the club expects, when to come, what a first-year deal looks like, and how to arrive ready rather than jet-lagged and guessing.

  4. 04

    Relocation guidance

Work, accommodation, cost of living, the first month. I point you to the right people on visas and paperwork.

  5. 05

    Landing support

Someone who knows the league and the city on the other end of the phone from the day you land: first training, first week, first month.

The call

Fifteen minutes. Before I put my name behind anyone with a club, I want to know three things: where you've played, what you're actually going for, and why Australia.

You'll get a straight answer on whether the move makes sense for you, where you'd realistically fit, and what the next step is. If I don't think it's right, I'll tell you that too.

I made this move with none of the answers. Renown is everything I wish I'd had before I flew.

Euan Cameron in Stirling Macedonia kit

Founder

Euan Cameron is a midfielder from Glasgow, Scotland, who came through the youth systems at Partick Thistle and St Mirren before playing senior football in the Scottish Professional Football League with Clyde and Stenhousemuir, across League One and League Two.

In January 2025 he moved to Perth, Western Australia, and signed for Stirling Macedonia in the NPLWA, where he has been named in the league's team of the month. He made the move the way most UK players do: on his own research, with no contacts, and with most of the important questions unanswered until he was already there.

Having lived and worked in Perth as an import himself, he knows the practical side that decides whether a move works: where players find work, how they find somewhere to live, and what the first weeks actually look like. It's the information he gives every player he works with, alongside the football.

Renown is his answer to the messages he now gets every week from players back home. For now it is one person, a small number of players at a time, and a straight answer before anything is promised.

FAQs

What level do I need to be at?
It varies by club, position and season, so there's no single answer. That's exactly what the call is for: an honest read on where you'd fit, rather than a rule.
Do you guarantee a contract?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. What Renown guarantees is an honest assessment, a proper introduction to clubs that are actually recruiting, and preparation for the opportunity you get.
Is the call really free?
Yes. If we both think it's worth going further, we'll explain what that looks like on the call.
Can you sort my visa and my job?
Visa advice is regulated in Australia, so Renown doesn't give it; you'll be pointed to a registered migration agent. Jobs come through clubs, sponsors and the network, and you'll be shown how players actually find them, but nothing is promised.
When should I be thinking about going?
NPL pre-season runs roughly November to February and that's when clubs recruit. Decisions in the UK are usually made in the autumn.
Which states do you work with?
Western Australia first, where Euan plays and knows the clubs personally. Other states as the network earns it.
Are you a licensed agent?
Not yet. Renown introduces, prepares and supports; it doesn't negotiate contracts. Representation will come once the licence does, and it will be said plainly here when it does.
